  18. When installing a ROM SIMM board, this jumper is removed to disable the logic board ROM.

  20. If this jumper is removed, and a ROM SIMM board is not installed, the computer will fail to boot and will not play the hardware problem tone sequence.  The only indication that the computer is on will be an illuminated power light at the front of the computer.
